Site / Project Engineer (2 Positions) – TfNSW Slope Stabilisation Location: Sydney & Regional (Projects across NSW) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Company A well-established specialist civil and geotechnical contractor is seeking two Site / Project Engineers to join its growing delivery team. The business operates across NSW delivering technically complex slope stabilisation, retaining structures and ground support works for government infrastructure and private clients. With a strong pipeline of TfNSW projects, this is an opportunity to work on challenging, high-risk environments alongside experienced construction and engineering professionals. The Role You will be responsible for the on-site engineering delivery of TfNSW slope stabilisation and earthworks packages , ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and on program. The role offers a mix of hands-on site engineering and project coordination responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Deliver day-to-day site engineering for slope stabilisation and retaining works Supervise site activities including subcontractors, labour, plant and materials Interpret drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports Coordinate installation of ground support systems such as: Soil nailing Rock bolting and anchors Shotcrete Drainage and erosion control systems Prepare daily site reports, QA documentation and progress updates Liaise with project managers, designers, consultants and TfNSW representatives Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and TfNSW requirements About You Essential: Degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering 3 years’ experience in a Site Engineer or Project Engineer role Demonstrated experience delivering TfNSW slope stabilisation projects Strong understanding of geotechnical construction methodologies Confident managing site-based engineering challenges Desirable: Experience working in rail or road corridor environments Exposure to steep slope, rock cutting or constrained access works Strong documentation, reporting and problem-solving skills Current White Card and relevant construction tickets What’s on Offer Long-term, permanent role with a specialist contractor Exposure to complex and technically challenging infrastructure projects Supportive team environment with experienced leadership Competitive salary package aligned to experience Clear opportunity for career progression into senior site or project roles How to Apply Submit your resume outlining your relevant TfNSW slope stabilisation experience .
