The role Construction, upgrade and maintenance of the Ausgrid network (ASP) including both underground and overhead projects Interpreting and working from technical drawings and installation plans in accordance with industry standards Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with WHS, network owner standards, and environmental requirements Assisting with both trade-based tasks and civil tasks Working collaboratively with crew members, subcontractors, supervisors and site stakeholders What we’re looking for To be considered you should have: A recognised trade qualification or relevant experience in the ASP industry (e.g., Certificate III or equivalent) Current White Card (Construction Induction) and relevant licences (e.g., HR/HC driver’s licence, EWP, dogging/rigging) Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varied weather Strong commitment to safety, quality of workmanship, and teamwork Local residency or strong willingness to be based in the Hunter region What we offer A meaningful long‑term role with a tier 1 company Competitive remuneration and allowances A local‑based role completing works in the Hunter, Central Coast or surrounding region Structured induction and support within a professional infrastructure contractor committed to safety and development Equal Opportunity & Local Talent Commitment We welcome applications from candidates who live in the Hunter region, Central Coast or surrounding NSW areas.
