The Role: As Marketing Operations Manager, you will partner closely with the Executive Manager, Marketing to lead the strategic development, delivery and optimisation of SMCT’s marketing operations, channels and ways of working. With a strong focus on operational excellence, this role balances strategic leadership with hands on execution, enabling a high performing team and delivering data led, customer focused outcomes across the organisation.Try starting this section with lines such as: Lead the strategic development and delivery of marketing operations, channels and initiatives with a continuous improvement mindset. Responsibilities include: Partner with the Marketing and Brand Manager to ensure seamless alignment, collaboration and team effectiveness Translate analytics and insights into optimisation opportunities and clear, actionable recommendations Lead, coach and develop a high performing marketing operations team through clarity, prioritisation and regular feedback Own planning, prioritisation and pipeline management across marketing work streams Build strong cross functional partnerships, bringing stakeholders together on best practice and shared outcomes Provide data led recommendations supported by realistic roadmaps and delivery plans Ensure accountability for accuracy, governance, content quality and operational and capital Facilitate the flow of financial insights and information to Senior Management. Provide leadership to the annual corporate business planning and budget processes. Drive planning and forecasting activities and impairment exercises. Support finance in monthly reporting activities and revenue recognition. Your Profile: You are a commercially minded marketing leader who thrives on improving how work gets done.
