We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead this exciting initiative. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences to help grow our business and ensure the new lunch service runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities : Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high-quality customer experience. Manage, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff to maintain performance and efficiency. Plan and implement the lunch segment operations, including menu execution, staffing, and workflow. Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food safety standards. Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain cost efficiency and stock levels. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, customer satisfaction, and repeat business. Handle scheduling, payroll, and rostering of staff. Resolve customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate financial records, monitor daily sales, and report to owners. Collaborate with owners to develop promotions, marketing initiatives, and new operational processes. Foster a positive workplace culture and encourage teamwork and professional development among staff. Key requirements : Proven experience as a café, restaurant, or hospitality manager, preferably in full-service or casual dining. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, food safety, and hygiene standards. Experience in financial management, budgeting, cost control, and stock/inventory management. Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle complaints professionally. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, scheduling, and staff rostering. Ability to implement new operational processes, promotions, and service initiatives (e.g., lunch segment). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with suppliers, staff, and owners. Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering a high-quality dining experience.
