Our Opportunity NEPEAN Modular is seeking multiple Carpenters to join our workshop team. These are 6 month fixed term contract positions based at our Rutherford workshop. Your Role You will contribute to a wide range of modular construction projects, often involving high quality switchrooms and transportable buildings. Project requirements vary and include modules for open cut and underground mines, solar farms, wind farms, water treatment plants, airports, and regional locations across Australia. Regular work includes but is not limited to: Installing CFC flooring Installing steel frames and trusses Installing Fyrecheck and ballistic sheeting Wall and roof construction Installing external and internal cladding and flashings Installing custom doors Collaborating with electricians and boilermakers as required Performing quality checks on completed work Maintaining housekeeping and cleanliness of your work area in line with 5S standards Future opportunities within the NEPEAN Group may also be available for the right candidates. The Right Person We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent experience as a Construction Trade Assistant Experience in residential, commercial, or modular construction Ability to interpret drawings and work from sketches Competency using workshop machinery and power tools Ability to meet deadlines Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Personal hand tools Current Driver Licence Forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, dogman, or confined space tickets are advantageous but not essential.
