We are looking for experienced and skilled painter to join our team. Position Title : Painter To be considered for this role you must have: Minimum Certificate III/IV in Painting and Decorating or equivalent Minimum 1 year of prior industry experience You must be Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or have proper working rights in Australia Main tasks Select appropriate paints, coatings, tools, and equipment based on project requirements, including interior, exterior, roof, epoxy, fence, and commercial painting. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling, sealing, and priming to ensure durable and high-quality finishes. Repair cracks, holes, and damaged areas using caulk, putty, plaster, epoxy fillers, or other suitable materials. Mix, match, and apply various coatings, including emulsion, enamel, epoxy, waterproofing membranes, varnish, and protective finishes. Perform interior and exterior house painting, including repainting of walls, ceilings, doors, trims, and façades. Execute roof painting and apply waterproofing or protective coatings to prevent corrosion, leaks, and humidity damage. Carry out commercial and industrial painting projects with minimal disruption to client operations. Apply epoxy coatings for floors and surfaces, ensuring proper leveling, adhesion, and curing Perform fence painting and protective coating applications for durability and weather resistance. Utilize spray painting techniques and spray guns for large areas or where smooth, uniform finishes are required. Safely erect and work on ladders, scaffolding, and staging to access high or difficult areas. Cover and protect furniture, floors, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces before painting. Tape and mask designated areas to achieve clean edges and precise finishes. Apply multiple coats as specified and perform touch-ups or second coats to meet quality standards. Remove paint splatters and ensure all painted areas meet finishing expectations. Calculate material quantities and assist with cost estimation for painting projects. Clean and maintain all tools, equipment, brushes, rollers, and spray guns after use. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, color selections, and design expectations. Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to high professional standards.
