Reporting directly to the Quality & Compliance Manager, the ideal candidate will be integral in supporting Digga’s growth as well as providing assurance to external customers, suppliers, regulators, and other key stakeholders that all materials produced by the Digga group meets relevant industry standards. The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for assisting in the management and compliance of ISO9001 standard for the Digga Group and will possess experience in the following. Key responsibilities will include: Conducting internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance to the Quality Management system and ISO9001 accreditation Continuously improve, implement, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures Prepare and submit routine reports as required Create initiatives to enhance our overall customer service satisfaction Assist with fostering a strong quality culture within the organisation including delivery of internal training programs on Digga’s quality system Work with and build strong relationships with key stakeholders To be successful you will have: Experience with ISO9001 required Qualifications in internal Auditing, Quality, or related fields essential Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a background in a manufacturing environment Leadership qualities and/or experience or a desire to grow or develop these skills In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant production standards Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to managing business requirements High level of communication and problem-solving skills (Ishikawa diagram or 5 – y analysis experience or knowledge highly desirable) Company: Opportunities for career progression and additional training Staff events such as company BBQs, Christmas Parties etc Free EAP service for staff and their families 24/7 counselling Free Fitness App Health Assessments and self-care programs Exclusive offers and discounts for well-known/leading brands and company’s Wellbeing articles A good working knowledge of manufacturing principles would be expected, and a background in machinery design, fabrication principles, automotive or mining equipment is preferred and would be an advantage.
