In this role, you’ll partner with key divisions, including Student Services & Operations, the Vice-Chancellor’s Division, Academic, Future Students, and Research - to shape a people-centred culture and deliver initiatives that drive both transformational and operational impact. What you’ll do Contribute to a strong partnership between People and Wellbeing and University Divisions, ensuring meaningful delivery of the full range of HR advice and support. Provide expert guidance in developing and enabling workforce strategies, organisational design, and people plans. Support the identification, development, implementation, and embedding of people-related programs and initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic direction and People Strategy. Coach People Leaders and Managers to foster leadership practices that drive engagement, accountability, excellence, and high performance. Mentor and coach People and Wellbeing colleagues to support their professional growth and development. What’s Required Demonstrated extensive professional HR experience in large and/or complex organisations, or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience. Deep understanding of university employment frameworks, policies, procedures, systems, and processes, with the ability to identify root causes and create optimal outcomes. Proven ability to coach people managers on career development, expectation setting and resetting, performance improvement, and exit processes where appropriate. Strong capability to diagnose organisational performance issues using emotional intelligence, data analysis, and hypothesis testing to drive insights and solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels and resolve conflict effectively. Salary Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152,033 comprising base salary within the range of $114,282 to $129,943 plus 17% superannuation.
