What You’ll Be Doing Coordinate day-to-day services, bus charters, schedules and timetables in line with the two group roster principles. Ensure all shifts are allocated buses and updated throughout the day. Responsible for the operational roster. Monitor two-way radio. Ensure driver fatigue rules and Busways best practice is adhered to. All entries in HIVE are updated in a timely manner. Cover all weekend work. Coordinate with Yard Supervisors to ensure dispatch of drivers and buses on time Support OCC/Lead Depot with head off and backups when required. Assist OCC with local knowledge if required for diversions and shift allocations. Ensure drivers are fit and ready for work. Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed Coordinate with Workshops for additional requirements Report BDC faults Update drivers of upcoming diversions, events and rail replacements. What You’ll Bring Knowledge and experience of Busways Operations working environment and its intricacies and a sound ability to communicate and engage with employees at all levels Demonstrated Operations knowledge including service delivery, rostering, incident management and performance management Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills Leadership capability, experience and demonstrated capacity to coach others. Computer literacy and a good working knowledge of computer systems to provide administrative support. Creative thinker and proactive problem solver Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with complex matters.
