This role is responsible for leading and mentoring educators to design, implement and evaluate a high-quality, child-centred education and care curriculum that aligns with the service philosophy and the National Quality Framework. As the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader, you will ensure legislative and regulatory compliance, foster inclusive and engaging learning environments, support children’s wellbeing, and guide reflective practice across the team. Working closely with the Team Leader Children’s Services, you will contribute to continuous improvement, promote best practice in early learning, and represent Council’s Children’s Services within the community and the broader sector. This is a part-time position that operates in line with NSW school terms, offering the opportunity to balance meaningful work with your personal and family life. The successful applicant will succeed in this position by meeting the following criteria: Hold an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood setting Ability to meet the requirements of registration as “Nominated Supervisor” with the NSW Department of Education.
