Sentence Management Operations Officer An opportunity is available within the NSW State Government for a detail-oriented and motivated Sentence Management Operations Officer to support the administration and records management of offender detention and release processes. This role is suited to an experienced administrator who thrives in a high-volume, process-driven environment and is confident working with legislation, systems, and sensitive information. About the Role Sentence Management Operations is responsible for the accurate administration and management of records relating to the detention and release of offenders in custody. The role requires careful interpretation of custodial and non-custodial court orders and ensuring all information is accurately recorded in government systems. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain accurate records relating to offender detention and release Accurately record custodial and non-custodial court orders in the relevant database Prepare documentation for court appearances and offender releases Conduct data integrity checks and high-volume data entry Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including courts and justice partners Interpret legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment Essential Skills & Experience Proven administrative experience in a high-volume work environment Strong computer literacy and technical skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to interpret legislation and follow structured processes Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities Working Arrangements On-site work during training Potential opportunity to work from home once fully trained, subject to management approval and demonstrated competency in all required tasks Roster & Shift Requirements This role operates on a 28-day rotating roster . During training: A Watch: 7:00am – 3:00pm Post-training (availability required based on operational needs): A10 Watch: 10:00am – 6:00pm D Watch: 10:30am – 6:30pm C Watch: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
