IEPro are working with a leading civil contractor to hire a Contract & Procurement Officer based in Queensland. This company delivers large-scale road, infrastructure and civil projects across the state and is known for its technical capability, integrity, and collaborative project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work within an experienced project and commercial team while supporting procurement, contract administration, and supplier management for major civil projects. The Opportunity As the Contract & Procurement Officer, you will support the commercial and operational teams to ensure that all contract and purchasing activities are conducted efficiently, transparently, and in line with company procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of commercial administration and project support within a well-established and reputable civil construction environment. The Role In this role, you will: Manage procurement processes including supplier engagement, RFQs and tender evaluations Prepare, review, and administer subcontract agreements and purchase orders Maintain contract registers, procurement documentation, and compliance records Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services Assist in the preparation of progress claims, cost reports, and forecasting Support the commercial team with risk management and cost tracking Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement systems and processes About You To succeed, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or related discipline (preferred) Experience in contract administration or procurement within civil construction Strong understanding of tendering, negotiation, and supply chain management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Sound organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software The Benefits Permanent position based in Queensland Salary up to $140k super Work with a well-established and respected civil contractor Supportive leadership team and professional culture Long-term career development opportunities within a growing business Please note: Applications will only be considered from Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents with local experience.
