The Opportunity As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of all commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of project delivery across multiple sites. You’ll work closely with senior management and project teams to ensure best practice in contract administration, cost forecasting, and risk management. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. The Role In this role, you will: Lead commercial operations across multiple civil projects Oversee contract administration, procurement, and financial reporting Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements Negotiate and review subcontractor and supplier agreements Advise senior leadership on project performance and risk mitigation Mentor and develop project engineers and contract administrators About You To succeed, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline At least eight years of experience in civil construction, including commercial or project management Proven ability to manage contracts, claims, and financial performance Strong communication and negotiation skills A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and attention to detail Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing commercial teams A commitment to collaboration, integrity, and quality project outcomes The Benefits Permanent position based in Brisbane Salary up to $210k super Work with a respected contractor delivering complex civil projects Collaborative and professional company culture Genuine opportunity to influence commercial strategy and business growth Please note: Applications will only be considered from Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents with local experience.
