The Role This is a critical and hands-on role at the heart of a large-scale F1 Wagyu breeding operation. As the All-round Station Couple, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day management of this extensive 500,000-acre property. Your primary responsibilities will include the essential maintenance tasks that keep the station running smoothly, such as managing the bore network (which utilises all solar pumps) and executing the lick runs. A significant part of the year will focus on fence line maintenance, ensuring stock security across the vast developed area. Candidates will also be a key participant in the single annual muster, which is conducted using two-wheel motorbikes and supported by helicopters. Post-muster, the role requires meticulous attention to detail in the yards for processing weaners, including vaccinating, tagging, accurately weighing, and recording data using True Test systems made enjoyable in the hydraulic operated cattle yards and calf cradle. Furthermore, experience operating machinery and a HR license is highly valued, particularly a grader, to maintain station infrastructure. The Ideal Candidate The ultimate candidates is a third-year-plus station hand with mechanical knowledge, ready to commit to a long-term role: A high level of mechanical knowledge. Grader, Skid Steer, Loader and HR Truck operating experience are highly desirable. Proven team player with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm.
