Role In this role you will use your experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families to carry out necessary assessments of individual, family and community issues. You will use appropriate methods of intervention and provide provide comprehensive case management support to children, families and carers in foster care placements. You will also help keep children connected to culture and where appropriate maintain a relationship with birth families. Requirements Degree qualification in social work, psychology or relevant community welfare fields. Must have eligibility for membership with AASW, CWA or APS Previous case management experience in a child protection/family support setting. Skills in assessment of child protection, family and community dynamics Preparedness to travel in 4WD vehicles or light planes, as required, and ability to undertake travel including overnight stays as necessary. You need to have working rights in Australia to be eligible for these roles Further info In return, you will be offered a salary in the region of $90-127k Super (inclusive of location allowances). Relocation costs and initial accommodation is also available for candidates. Roles in remote locations also come with free accommodation and further travel allowances are paid in all roles.
