Position Purpose: As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead Gong Cha Canberra CBD. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, with a strong focus on customer experience, team leadership, operational excellence, and profitability. This role plays a key part in driving the store’s success by building a positive workplace culture, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring consistent high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring Gong Cha’s standards for freshly brewed tea, product quality, and fast service are consistently met. Lead, train, and manage staff performance, including recruitment, rostering, and building a motivated and efficient team. Deliver exceptional customer experiences, addressing enquiries and resolving complaints while maintaining Gong Cha’s reputation for service excellence. Manage inventory, stock ordering, and monthly stocktakes to maintain optimal product availability. Monitor sales performance, control labour and product costs, and achieve financial targets. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements across all store operations. Implement Gong Cha policies, operational procedures, and new product launches with consistency. Support marketing campaigns, in-store promotions, and brand initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
