About the Role We're seeking a proactive and curious Employee Relations Advisor to support the Employee Relations function across TheirCare's national network of services. In this role, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and compliance with employment legislation and awards. You'll work closely with leaders and the wider People team, building your experience while helping drive consistent and fair people practices. Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting leaders, employees, and the organisation to deliver high-quality, positive workplace experiences. This is a full-time position based at our Glen Iris HQ in Melbourne, with hybrid work options available. The role is advertised at $85,000 Superannuation , reflecting its development and growth focus. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end management of employee relations cases, including performance management, grievances, and workplace investigations, ensuring fair, consistent and compliant outcomes. Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and reporting, providing insights and updates to leadership as required. Stay informed of employment legislation, awards, and regulatory changes, proactively advising the business and updating policies and procedures. Contribute to projects that strengthen the employee experience, compliance frameworks, and organisational capability. Partner with leaders to provide practical guidance, support decision-making, and help build their capability in managing people matters. About You Some experience in HR, employee relations, or a similar people-focused role, with a desire to take ownership of casework and develop your expertise. Curious and motivated to learn, with an interest in legislation, compliance, and improve people practices. Confident communicator who can build relationships, manage sensitive matters professionally, and influence others. Well organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is desirable, with a strong commitment to career growth in an industrial relations-oriented function.
