About the role and where you'll be working: The Multiskilled Domestic – Cleaning, Laundry, and Catering Services is a hands-on, customer-focused role responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, laundry services, and basic catering support across Juniper residential aged care facilities. Working closely with care staff and hospitality teams, this role supports residents’ wellbeing by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment and ensuring the effective preparation, delivery, and service of meals. The role is flexible and may include rotation between streams of cleaning, laundry, and catering duties based on operational needs. Juniper Waratah Lodge prides itself on the close relationships built between our compassionate and respectful team of staff, residents, their families, and the local community. The home is a small site which plays a vital role in the Great Southern region providing support to 18 residents ensuring that families remain close to their loved ones and stay connected within the community. This is a casual role with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts across various Juniper sites as required. Key Responsibilities: Performing cleaning services including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areas Help within the kitchen - prepping food, maintaining cleanliness Laundry services Competent use of relevant chemicals and associated safety principles when cleaning Respect residents' property and privacy Safely use equipment and PPE Key Requirements: Must have valid work rights in Australia Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures Understanding of infection control Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting (desirable) Strong organisational and communication skills Why Join Us: $30.42 per hour 25% casual loading Health insurance discounts with HBF or Medibank.
