Your role within the team As the Senior National Account Manager, Sigma you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Sigma Healthcare business strategy. Working closely with the National Sales Manager, Sigma Healthcare, you will partner with Chemist Warehouse, Amcal and DDS as well as Chemist Warehouse China buying teams to deliver executional, financial, and operational targets that drive mutual growth. You are a commercially astute account leader with proven success in managing large retail accounts. You thrive on building strong customer partnerships, navigating complex negotiations, and translating insights into strategies that deliver sustainable results. With your deep understanding of the FMCG landscape and Pharmacy ways of working, you are motivated to create long-term value for both the customer and the business. Key responsibilities include: Act as the key business management contact for Sigma buying teams across VMS, Skincare and IMF, fostering strong and collaborative partnerships. Co-develop and lead the delivery of the Joint Business Plan with Chemist Warehouse, ensuring alignment to category growth drivers and long-term commercial objectives. Optimise trade spend effectiveness by evaluating investment strategies and recommending improvements to maximise ROI. Work closely with Key Account Managers and omnichannel team to maximise CoOp Investment. Collaborate closely with internal teams across marketing, innovation, finance, and operations to ensure seamless execution of NPD, customer initiatives and exceptional account servicing. Partner with supply chain teams on forecasting, demand planning, and promotional run rates to maintain strong on-shelf availability. Leverage data and insights to analyse sales performance, stock availability, and promotional outcomes, driving continuous improvement. Guide and align field team and merchandising partners on call cycles, new store openings, and in-store execution of trade promotions and POG reviews. Support the delivery of new product development (NPD) initiatives and activations in partnership with marketing, shopper, retail training & education and store operations teams. Develop compelling customer and internal presentations that influence decision-making and build alignment across stakeholders. To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce, Business or a related discipline, with 5 years’ experience in FMCG. Proven track record in managing major national retail accounts, with demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic account plans within the pharmacy channel. Direct experience managing Chemist Warehouse and pharmacy accounts, with deep understanding of their retail business models, operating processes, systems, and ways of working. Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management, forecasting, trade investment and spend optimisation, with a proven track record of driving profitable growth. Proven ability to lead complex customer negotiations and manage relationships, safeguarding brand equity and long-term partnerships while influencing both internal stakeholders and external partners. Strong knowledge of category and shopper data platforms (e.g. IQVIA, IRI, Nielsen, Quantium) and advanced skills in extracting insights to inform strategy. Advanced Excel and strong data analysis capability, with a track record of translating insights into actionable customer and category growth strategies. Demonstrated experience in project and campaign management, including engaging subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver tailored solutions. Practical knowledge of internal administration processes, including PR/PO systems and budget management. Accountability and responsiveness in delivering high-quality customer service and support.
