Spare Parts Interpreter TRS Resourcing is partnering with a well-established organisation within the engine and drive systems sector to recruit an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter for a Melbourne-based role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy parts environment, providing accurate parts support and excellent customer service across phone and email channels. The Position You'll be responsible for interpreting, sourcing, and supplying spare parts while liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth, timely outcomes. Key Duties Interpret spare parts requirements for internal teams and external customers via phone and email. Respond to enquiries quickly and accurately, providing practical solutions Manage order processing tasks, including purchasing, receipting, and invoicing as needed Work closely with colleagues to support spare parts operations across the business Use parts software and associated tools efficiently and correctly Provide training to internal and external users on parts systems and related software Support warehouse activities and assist with other tasks when required Liaise with global teams as needed Produce reporting tied to service and aftersales activities Participate in occasional work-related travel (training and customer visits) Provide after-hours spare parts support when required About You At least 2 years' experience in automotive spare parts, or a relevant mechanical qualification. Strong customer service skills and a professional, confident phone manner. Competent with Microsoft Office , particularly Excel and Outlook. Current full Australian driver's licence. Well organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team. Willing to build product knowledge and keep skills up to date. SAP ERP exposure is desirable but not essential.
