We’re seeking a Region Manager to oversee operations in the Hawkes Bay region, driving growth, managing teams, and delivering high-quality services across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities Plan, direct, and oversee all regional operations, including civil, road maintenance, and asphalt production activities. Lead and supervise a team of approximately 150 employees, including staff at the main office, asphalt plant, workshop, and depot. Ensure all projects and operations meet technical specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements. Drive a strong safety-first culture across all sites and operations. Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and resources to maintain progress against program milestones. Manage relationships with key clients, councils, and contractors to secure long-term regional contracts and growth opportunities. Oversee the delivery of major contracts, including state highway maintenance, council road maintenance, and the supply of asphalt for regional projects. About You At least 10 years’ experience in regional or operations management within civil construction, infrastructure, or road maintenance. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams across multiple sites. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, and client relationships. Excellent knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards. Highly organised with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
