We are seeking an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to duplicate a Windows infrastructure environment in a time dependent project. This role is focused on Windows and domain-based infrastructure , with exposure to Linux systems and modern virtualisation platforms. You will play a key role in duplicating this environment for a sale of an existing business in the bank focusing infrastructure uplift, optimisation, and automation initiatives across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Administer and engineer a duplicate Windows Server infrastructure in a new enterprise environment Manage and uplift Active Directory and Windows Domain Services , including remediation and modernisation activities Design, implement, and support Microsoft Group Policy (GPO) Support and manage VMware virtualisation platforms Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency Support on-premises Microsoft Exchange environments Work across networking, backup, and storage technologies to ensure reliability and performance Participate in infrastructure upgrades, security improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues Required Skills & Experience Advanced operating system administration experience with Windows Server (Linux experience highly regarded) Advanced Active Directory / Domain Services experience Advanced VMware experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Group Policy (GPO) Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capability Experience supporting on-premises Exchange Solid understanding of networking fundamentals , backup solutions , and storage platforms Desirable Experience Experience with Nutanix hyperconverged environments Exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure uplift or transformation programs Certifications (Highly Regarded) MCSE (or modern Microsoft equivalents) VMware certifications CCNP , CISSP , or other relevant infrastructure/security certifications Please email your resume to Peter on peter@employ.com.au
