Description The Office Manager at Star Aviation plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Sydney Airport environment. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various administrative tasks while supporting the overall objectives of the company and its operations. Key responsibilities include: Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies. Working with airlines on day of operations and reporting and responding to information associated with the services we provide. Ensure adherence to safety and quality management systems in alignment with industry standards. Management of the airport's customer service delivery to ensure it is in line with the company's brand values, in addition to acting as a secondary escalation point where required for problem resolution and disrupt management. Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to support business operations and process improvements. Build strong, professional relationships with our Leaders, ensuring day to day customer service delivery is successful. Manage HR and administrative functions, including employee records and compliance reporting. Deliver Star Aviation and Airline training to staff as well as ensuring compliant record keeping of training documentation. Provide support in workforce planning and recruitment activities. Manage office budgets and supplier relationships. Complete all relevant shift reports required of this position prior to end of shift. Identify new service opportunities with prospective Airlines. Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to enhance organisational effectiveness. The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving will be essential in this dynamic role within our team at Star Aviation. Skills And Experiences A diploma in Business, Aviation or a related field . A minimum of 2 years full-time experience in the aviation industry. A valid NSW Drivers Licence A valid Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC) A valid Sydney Airport ADA Licence Proficiency in the following administrative and operational systems: Elmo HR and Payroll system Intelex ISOPro SharePoint Microsoft Suite
