QLD’s leading development and construction firms has an opening for a Contract Administrator to learn the business in a true design & construct environment. You will be involved in projects not just in the commercial sense but with the opportunity to influence both the early development phase and the financial performance at the end , by taking part in consultant engagement in design development and cost planning for initial feasibilities as well as trade selection. Projects are varied and are across the commercial, retail, industrial and multi-residential sectors from $15M-$50M in size This Contract Administrator role represents the ability to step away from the normal hard dollar environment to a more client focused and partnering approach. Your ability to nurture relationships with joint-venture partners whilst commercially controlling your projects will see you progress into project management after 6-12 months. It is also the opportunity to get exposed to the front-end development phase including project planning and feasibilities. This diverse construction and development organisation has been expanding their business successfully over the past 30 years and is also diversifying into emerging markets to ensure the future stability of the company. They have found that their methods and understanding of the development process have led to a large property portfolio of assets and some of the largest development firms lining up to work with them Candidates with at least 3-5 years experience as a construction CA are encouraged to apply.
