Synergie is seeking a Production Operator for a chemical manufacturing facility supplying the food manufacturing industry, located in Laverton North. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to secure ongoing or permanent employment. Important parts Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:06pm Pay rate: $35.15 p/h Super Location: Laverton North, VIC Start date: ASAP or after the New Years Opportunity: Potential to go permanent for the right candidate What you will be required to do Pick and prepare raw materials for chemical batch production Mix and blend liquid and powder chemicals to specified concentrations Pump liquids and dissolve powders in accordance with production instructions Fill and package chemicals from 5L to 1,000L containers Predominantly working outdoors Wear provided PPE at all times (long sleeves and pants) Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods Maintain cleanliness and safety within the production area To be successful in the role you will Have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (chemical experience highly regarded) Hold a current LF forklift licence Be physically fit and capable of manual handling up to 25kg Demonstrate strong speaking and writing in English Possess good numeracy skills for batching and measurements Communicate effectively and work well within a team Have a strong commitment to workplace safety and procedures Have full working rights in Australia (No Student or Working Holiday VISAs at this stage) Have reliable transport and the ability to travel to Laverton North What’s on offer for you As a leading provider of temporary workforce solutions, we value all our employees and offer weekly pay, a commitment to safe working environments, and consultants that care.
