Senior Tax Advisor – Transfer Pricing Brisbane or Perth | Hybrid | 12-month contract Smart Tax Search has an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Transfer Pricing professional to join a global tax team on a 12-month contract, commencing immediately. This role offers genuine international exposure, involvement in large-scale projects, and the chance to make a meaningful impact through automation, process improvement and high-quality advisory work . The role can be based in either Brisbane or Perth. The O pportunity : Working as part of a global transfer pricing team, you will play a key role in managing and enhancing transfer pricing compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. You will partner closely with product groups as they expand into new regions, providing practical and commercially relevant transfer pricing advice. The role is varied and project-driven, supporting senior transfer pricing leaders across advisory matters, audits and strategic initiatives. Given the global footprint of the business, there will be interaction with stakeholders across Australia, Asia, North America, South America and Europe, with flexibility fully supported to help you manage work and life commitments ⚖️. Key R esponsibilities : Manage global transfer pricing compliance requirements across multiple regions Collect information and prepare transfer pricing documentation Assist with local related-party reporting obligations Coordinate benchmarking analyses and manage external advisors where required Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in transfer pricing automation and standardisation Support group-level transfer pricing reporting, including Master File updates and Country-by-Country Reporting Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and embed best practice responses Provide timely, commercially focused transfer pricing advice to internal stakeholders globally Review inter-company transactions and support annual true-up analyses Partner with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of TP adjustments in statutory accounts Support transfer pricing projects, reorganisations and transactions Assist with audits, APAs and MAPs, including coordination with external advisors Build strong relationships across tax, finance, legal, treasury and operational teams About Y ou : Minimum 5 years’ transfer pricing tax experience gained in a top-tier consultancy and/or multinational corporate environment Strong technical grounding in transfer pricing documentation and compliance Professional qualification in Accounting, Law, Economics, Finance or similar Proven experience supporting tax audits and dealing with tax authorities Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities across complex, deadline-driven workstreams Confident communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical advice Comfortable working with data and systems, with experience in TP implementation and inter-company adjustments desirable A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in improving and automating processes, including use of tools such as Power BI Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across cultures and time zones Why consider this role Exposure to complex, global operations at scale Broad and interesting project work beyond pure compliance A collaborative, high-calibre tax team environment Strong focus on flexibility, inclusion, and sustainable ways of working The opportunity to contribute, learn and grow within a globally connected organisation *Note: this role is initially offered on a 12-month contract and although no initial guarantees can be made about extension, this employer has a strong track record of extending contract employees, often offering permanent roles to strong performers.
