About the Role As Centre Director, you’ll lead the centre’s people, quality, and operations, balancing excellence in compliance with a warm, community-minded approach. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team. Embed a strong safeguarding culture where child safety comes first. Oversee daily operations: staffing, rostering, facilities, and family engagement. Drive quality against the NQS and lead A&R preparedness. Manage budgets, occupancy, and centre performance. Build trusted relationships with families and the local community. Champion continuous improvement through reflection, feedback, and data. About You Proven centre leadership experience. Deep knowledge of the NQF and EYLF. Strength in people leadership, communication, and conflict resolution. Operational and financial acumen (budgets, occupancy, reporting). Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood (or equivalent). Current Working With Children Check and relevant clearances. Values-led, reflective, and committed to professional growth.
