Job Summary: Our payments Practice has a need to grow our capability in the region. This person will lead the end-to-end delivery of a major ATM Software Migration program for a leading banking client. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on expertise across ATM platforms, acquiring and issuing payments switches, content management systems for smart ATM/Kiosks and the ability to manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure, stable, and modernised solutions to support the modernisation of in branch services. Key Responsibilities: Lead engineering teams responsible for ATM software migration, modernisation, and integration. Drive the technical roadmap, architecture decisions, and migration strategy aligned with banking standards and policies and compliance of banking regulators. Oversee the design decisions for ATM upgrades and workflow integrations for planned operational efficiency with vendor integrations, Messaging translations and guidance to impacts and risks for all ATM/kisk messages for ‘On-Us’ and OFI transactions with least cost routing across domestic and international payment schemes. Manage development, testing, deployment, scheduled migration of devices and post-go-live support for ATM channels. Including the PCI-DSS compliance certifications of devices and core systems. Collaborate with bank business owners and stakeholders for Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Branch Operations teams. Identify risks, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery within timelines. Provide engineering leadership, mentorship, performance management, and resource planning. Skills & Experience Required: 8 years of experience in ATM Acquiring and payment switching services software engineering, with at least 3–5 years in engineering leadership/management. Detailed knowledge of AS2805, ISO8583 and ISO 20022 message standards. Strong experience in ATM software migration, ATM application development, or ATM channel modernisation. Hands-on background with ATM platforms and Kiosk modernisation and scheme routing protocols. Experience working in banking environments with strong regulatory and security expectations. Proven ability to run engineering teams in Agile and hybrid delivery environments. Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, planning, and budgeting skills. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities. Preferred to have: Knowledge of branch technology, teller systems, and backoffice standard processes for branch operations. Experience delivering large-scale modernisation programs in regulated environments.
