In this role you will make an impact by: · Need to connect Baking and Food customer to understand needs / pains/ and deliver the solution. · Conduct lab / plant trials with customers for solving the issues / new product development or new applications. · Stay abreast of technical development and generate new ideas related to Baking and Food industry. · Contribute actively with input for continuous tool & service development for baking and Food industry. · Support launch teams as needed for generating regional application data or technical information or local practices or process. · Knowledge and experience of plant-based food will be an added advantage. · Actively involved in competitor mapping and bench marking. · Provide competitor insights into the regional / global team. · Provide customer insights to the other regional / global business team / global marketing. · Participate in test marketing & roll out. To succeed you must hold: · Minimum 5 years’ baking industry experience in R&D / application / NPD. · Bachelor’s or Master’s in food science / technology / relevant area. · Knowledge and experience of the baking ingredients and process. · Knowledge of flour quality and impact on baking. · Knowledge on enzymes application is preferable. · Understanding about baked products, recipes and processes in Oceania region. · Knowledge and experience of plant-based food will be an added advantage.
