Your New Role In this 12-month contract you will lead a cross-functional team of delivery professionals and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that will work closely with key partners to deliver a pivotal program of work in the Insurance part of the business. To be successful in this role you will need to be an expert in managing complex programs of work with multiple streams, working closely with key partners to drive alignment, accountability and rigour. You will need to have experience in highly regulated environments with a keen eye for detail and a pragmatic ability to drive progress and senior leadership engagement. The Senior Project Manager will leverage established frameworks and tools for delivery, align key stakeholders and drive significant, well-defined change across product simplification, process assurance, automation and change management. Important to note - this is not a technical position; it is a Business Senior Project Manager. Key duties include but are not limited to; Motivate and inspire the team and vendor partners by demonstrating commitment to the Fund's values, decision pillars and leadership principles. Ensure our Members First culture is consistently and firmly embedded across the team. Effectively communicate and apply sponsor expectations with respect to quality, budget, progress, delivery timelines, and strategy. Execute the project according to the project plan, optimising for delivering aligned impact and member value. Nurture and maintain internal relationships across all levels of the Fund. Work closely with key stakeholders internally and in partner organisations to drive transparency, clarity and delivery. Lead the team to operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund's Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities. Ensure relevant legislative and organisational requirements are met; keep up to date on all key changes to relevant regulations. What You'll Need Experience in the use of Project Management Toolsets and collaboration tools. Proven ability to work to a structured delivery framework, such as Waterfall and Agile SDLC delivery methodology. 8 years as an Experience Specialist, Product Owner or Project Manager role. Skilful application of well-designed change management and communication processes as they relate to instigating and delivering on programs of change across diverse teams and geographies. Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver outcomes through collaboration and clear alignment. Well-honed analytical abilities, quantitative skills and the ability to leverage those skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Good understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures.
