This is a Technical Field Engineer role with Unisys based in Townsville City, QLD, AU Unisys Role Seniority - mid level More about the Technical Field Engineer role at Unisys What success looks like in this role: As a Field Engineer at Unisys on an Australian Government account, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical support and services to our clients. Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, performing system installations and maintenance, and providing on-site support to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure. Proven e xperience in a Deskside support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network and software installation and troubleshooting Drivers Licence required (Automatic) Experience with supporting a corporate Windows environment Printing (installation, deployment, configuration, disposals) Software and Hardware diagnostic skills and building/upgrading PC's Test and Tag experience highly regarded Asset Management experience highly regarded Minimum of 2 years in supporting Deskside support environment You will be successful in this role if you have: NV1 security clearance must have for this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with extensive experience in Deskside Support, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A relevant degree in IT or a related field, along with industry certifications, will be highly regarded.
