Key Responsibilities Ensuring that all common area gardens, green area buffer zones (excluding the side and backyards of all sites) and common area lawns are always maintained in a good state of repair All areas are sprayed, weeded, watered, mulched and tended to on a regular basis Rejuvenating and or replanting gardens and any green areas when directed by the Company Ensuring the Resort’s irrigation system is operational and always maintained Ensuring all garden beds are free of rubbish and debris Mowing and edging all lawns at the Resort’s common areas and the median strips outside the Resort’s perimeter (the front of homes where applicable) Trimming bushes protruding through the perimeter fences of the Resort Ensuring that all internal roads are clean and tidy Monitoring and ensuring that the current Resort Rules are followed Recruiting, supervising, and managing a Landscape Gardener Key Skills Irrigation knowledge ACDC - chemicals license - preferred but not essential Grounds, facilities and maintenance experience Irrigation experience Managing the maintenance and cleaning of pools and Spa’s essential Previous management of contractors and trades essential Budget management Accountable, self-driven with proven management and conflict resolution skills Prior experience with raising and managing of Purchase Orders and financial management systems An understanding of asset management Great communication and customer focus What We Offer: Competitive salary A friendly, supportive, and collaborative team culture.
