There are 2x roles available- 1x on a permanent basis and 1x temporary for 12 months PE The successful candidates can be located anywhere across Queensland, but one role will cover SEQ and one will cover Central and NQ teams What You Will Be Doing Lead and coordinate contract reform initiatives aimed at establishing and embedding contract management frameworks, and ensuring housing and homelessness programs, products and services are effective, evidence based and represent value for money with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and integration. Provide leadership and oversight in the delivery, performance, budget, and value for money of contracts related to the Queensland Government's partnership with specialist homelessness services and registered community housing providers for the delivery of housing and homelessness services. You will be directly accountable for the contract outcomes, including ensuring the contract management activities align with agreed performance measures and organisational goals. Lead the development, implementation, and management of contract management processes, ensuring the execution of contract management activities aligns with both statutory and contractual requirements. Establish and maintain effective contract management governance frameworks. This includes setting up stakeholder engagement structures, oversight mechanisms, and decision-making processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective contract management across the lifecycle of the building construction and maintenance projects. Oversee and assess contract performance against agreed performance measures. Track and monitor provider performance, ensuring any issues are identified early and appropriate adjustments are made to maintain alignment with expectations. You will drive improvements and ensure contracts deliver on their objectives. Manage the day-to-day activities associated with contract management, ensuring that all actions are documented appropriately. You will maintain compliance with relevant legislation and ensure a robust audit trail is established for all contract management activities. Provide support to the Executive Director and Director - Contracting, including offering advice on procurement, contract development, and contract management matters in relation to specialist homelessness services and registered community housing providers.
