In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the care and presentation of the school grounds and gardens, you will also support school operations through assisting with deliveries, liaising with contractors, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. About The Role Responsibilities include, but not limited to; Maintain school grounds and gardens, including mowing, weeding, planting, watering, fertilising, and clearing drains/gutters. Prepare, maintain, and set up outdoor and indoor facilities for sports, events, exams, assemblies, and general school activities. Conduct minor repairs and maintenance of furniture, equipment, and fixtures, and perform urgent cleaning tasks when required. Operate, maintain, and safely use grounds and maintenance equipment in accordance with WHS requirements, including hazard reporting and safe chemical handling. Support school operations by liaising with staff and contractors, managing lost property, handling deliveries and supplies, and providing basic administrative assistance.
