About the team: Be part of a multidisciplinary Territory wide team creating positive change and strengthening the link between wellbeing, inclusion and engagement to support our kids. Work with allied health and special education professionals in a Multi-tiered System of Support framework to build the capability of educators to support students to maximise their educational outcomes. About the role: Speech Pathologists engage with educators to support children and young people presenting with speech, language and communication concerns that may be having a direct impact on educational outcomes. The role will involve travel to urban, regional and remote schools, educator capability building, goal setting, stakeholder engagement, school-based observations, delivering professional learning, modelling intervention and supporting educators to implement appropriate supports for children to increase success in accessing positive educational outcomes. To be successful you will need to have a degree in speech pathology from an Australian institution, or equivalent; eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and current working knowledge of paediatric speech pathology services.
