AWS InCommunities launches long-term, innovative programs that will have a lasting impact in our regions around the world . AWS InCommunities is obsessed with being good neighbors, and we start with the community and work backwards to represent infrastructure communities inside AWS. This role will lead the Community Engagement program for AWS Infrastructure in the APJC region. Key job responsibilities: - Develop the community engagement strategy for AWS Infrastructure for the APJC region. - Collaborate with AWS teams on long range planning for the region. - Hire and develop a team of community engagement managers in the region. - Lead the delivery of community programs, events, and initiatives following global standards with a focus on localization. - Conduct community assessment and need assessment studies in new regions and launch programs to support communities. - Partner with HR to build on and develop programs that empower employees to engage with our communities. - Represent AWS Infrastructure publicly in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. - Utilize multiple communications channels including, but not limited to newsletters, the intranet, social media, and email campaigns to drive employees’ awareness and involvement in community engagement initiatives. - Capture data to demonstrate community engagement’s quantified and qualified impact on AWS Infrastructure, its employees, and the community, and communicate these values internally and externally.
