THE SALARY: $220K - $250K plus Super plus Bonus THE COMPANY: We are partnering with a respected national commercial builder delivering a major Defence project in regional Northern Territory. This long-term project offers the opportunity to lead a complex, services-heavy Defence upgrade involving remediation, concrete repair, blast and paint works, and multiple critical building services packages. We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven Defence project delivery capability to take a key leadership role from early delivery through to completion. THE ROLE: As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project execution, performance and stakeholder management across a large Defence construction package. This position will suit someone who enjoys working on technically challenging, remote or regional projects and thrives in a fast-moving delivery environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Overseeing total project performance, cost control and program delivery Ensuring compliance with all HSECQ requirements and Defence site standards Leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors and managing direct labour Managing project reporting, forecasting and weekly progress meetings Providing guidance on technical and engineering matters, particularly across services-heavy scopes (electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, fire) Liaising closely with Defence stakeholders and ensuring all works are delivered to specification Managing tendering, procurement and variation processes Creating, reviewing and updating ITPs and SWMS Raising, tracking and resolving RFIs Driving a strong safety culture across all phases of the project ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT? You will be a capable and confident Project Manager with experience delivering mid-to-large scale Defence or highly secure commercial projects.
