Description The opportunity Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking a dedicated Zero Harm Advisor to support the Newcastle/Hunter Valley region. This role is critical in ensuring robust health, safety and environmental systems are implemented and maintained across multiple projects and outages. You’ll be part of a high-performing team that champions Zero Harm culture and drives continuous improvement in safety outcomes. This opportunity provides the opportunity for an upcoming safety professional allowing for growth and development, working alongside an experienced safety lead. What we’re looking for Minimum Certificate IV in WHS and a Construction Industry White Card. Sound understanding of HSE legislation, standards, and management systems. Willingness to coach and influence across all levels of a project team. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to travel and spend extended periods on remote sites for shutdown work. The below qualifications are advantageous but not a requirement: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment ICAM Lead Investigator Auditor Training Drug & Alcohol Testing certification You’ll also need to be collaborative, client-oriented, and driven by excellence, with a strategic mindset and high attention to detail.
