The key duties of the position include The Role The APS 6 Warehousing & Distribution Manager is accountable under limited direction to oversee complex warehousing management strategies, governance and assurance mandated tasks and inventory management activities. They will work within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices and procedures in accordance with Defence's mission and business objectives. They will undertake a range of warehouse management tasks within agreed priorities, receive instructions on what is required and take action to solve familiar circumstances involving choices between easily recognisable alternatives. The APS 6 Warehousing & Distribution Manager will have frequent stakeholder engagement and will be required to respond under direction to changes in stakeholder needs and expectations to achieve outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
