The Senior Site Manager on this $80m high rise project in Fortitude Valley will be able to demonstrate their ability to: Supervise and oversee the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs Liaise with the client, other construction professionals and sometimes members of the public Coordinate and supervise construction workers Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety Check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings Maintain quality control procedures Find ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up Assess and minimise risk Write reports and keep on top of paperwork Help to negotiate contracts and secure permits and licences Enjoy a culture that rewards initiative, collaboration, and long-term career growth The Senior Site Manager will have the following attributes: Ideally a Construction Management degree or equivalent tertiary qualification Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for an established construction company High rise project experience is extremely attractive Ability to manage a team of Contract Administrators and supervisors Commercially astute Ability to effectively manage Industrial Relations Company: Our client is a highly established construction company with a national turnover approaching $1 billion and a strong, secure pipeline of projects across South East Queensland.
