About The Role And Team We are looking for a Paralegal to join our regional team within Queensland Personal Injuries based in either Gladstone or Rockhampton on a full-time, 12 month contract. Our team is passionate about advocacy, client care, and delivering outstanding legal outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyer on a diverse range of matters. What you will be responsible for: Corresponding with clients regarding initial claim enquiries Communication with clients including obtaining instructions Reviewing and analysing liability and quantum material and requesting further material Drafting of legal and client correspondence and documents Developing understanding of strategy used in similar matters The experience we are looking for: Previous paralegal experience, preferably ideally within personal injuries Excellent organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. A strong academic background and/or experience in conducting complex legal research and writing. An understanding of our client base and the capacity to demonstrate empathy and compassion. Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel, updating databases, and/or manipulating data is advantageous. Capability to prioritise tasks, adapt to a rapidly evolving environment, and demonstrate outstanding organisational skills.
