The Human Resources Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the Villawood manufacturing plant by acting as a trusted advisor to managers, team leaders and employees. The Human Resources Advisor will lead and coordinate a range of Human Resources processes and initiatives including: talent acquisition, onboarding, employee/industrial relations, payroll, employee engagement, training and development, rewards and recognition programs, communication strategies, diversity, equity and inclusion, wellness initiatives and influencing other people strategies. Talent Acquisition Partner with our internal Talent Acquisition team to lead Supply Chain recruitment, from interviewing to facilitating onboarding Advise Recruiting Managers on process and best practice recruitment selection techniques and provide support where necessary (including agreeing on the recruitment strategy, preparing advertisements, testing, job description, search and selection, interviewing and recommendation to management) Manage end to end recruitment for our Manufacturing Team Members (machine operators) Develop and facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new employees are effectively inducted Review compensation offers Employee/Industrial Relations Provide advice, guidance, coaching and support to Leaders in all areas of HR including but not limited to performance management, employment relations, industrial relations and HR policies, procedures and processes Manage ER issues including investigation, disciplinary meetings and escalations where appropriate Ensure the accurate and effective interpretation of enterprise agreements, providing advice and guidance to employees and Team Leaders Payroll Processing of weekly Operator payroll exceptions, including entering leave and overtime into ADP Preparation of weekly and adhoc payroll reports as required Engagement and employee benefits Support the HRBP with the execution of HR-related initiatives such as, DE&I, organisation design, talent management, employee development, SHAPE (strategic holistic approach to people excellence), and various other programs Managing employee benefits, including coordinating and ordering monthly product parcels and facilitating their disbursement on site, coordinating annual years of service and birthday celebrations and uniform coordination Other HR responsibilities Coordinating monthly HR reporting, including absenteeism, headcount and monthly working hours reporting Ensure employee records are maintained accurately, supporting our digitization journey with our employee files Support the HRBP with the preparation of WGEA reporting for C-P Australia Support the Live Better wellbeing program on site, developing initiatives to drive engagement Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field A minimum of 3 years of HR experience Strong knowledge of employment law regulations and experience working in a unionised workforce Proven experience supporting performance management and employment relations matters Proactive self-starter with strong initiative Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience as a HR Advisor, preferably in a manufacturing environment Google suite exposure SuccessFactors system experience Our Commitment to Inclusion Our journey begins with our people-developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
