Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an AO5 Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to provide high-quality communication, marketing and engagement support across a range of active transport initiatives. Working closely with project leads, this role will support the delivery of key cycling and walking programs through the development, implementation and evaluation of communication and stakeholder engagement activities. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and evaluate communication and engagement plans for active transport initiatives Produce engaging content across multiple channels including websites, social media, newsletters, media materials, presentations and reports Support stakeholder consultation and promote project outputs and outcomes Monitor and report on delivery of action plans and initiatives Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across government Provide timely and accurate advice on communication and engagement risks and issues Support workshops, research, correspondence, reporting and project documentation as required About You Tertiary qualification in communication, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related discipline Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible messaging Experience developing communication and engagement materials for a range of audiences and channels Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes Highly regarded but not essential: Experience within Queensland Government or local government Exposure to the transport or active transport sector Skills in Adobe Creative Suite This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile cycling and walking initiatives while delivering meaningful communication and engagement outcomes across Queensland.
