Our client, a well-established RTO based in Brendale , is seeking an experienced Restricted Electrical Trainer to deliver high-quality, nationally recognised training in Restricted Electrical and Test & Tag courses in a full-time capacity on flexible working arrangements. Tasks and Responsibilities Deliver Restricted Electrical and Test & Tag training in practical and theory-based settings Assess student competency in line with VET Standards and AQF requirements Maintain compliant training and assessment documentation Support student engagement, enrolment, and progression Contribute to continuous improvement and course development Use Student Management Systems and internal reporting tools Maintain strong relationships with students, industry, and internal stakeholders Work in alignment with ASQA and RTO compliance requirements Skills and Experience Demonstrated industry experience in restricted electrical work Strong communication and presentation skills High attention to detail and commitment to training excellence Confidence using computers, online systems, and basic Microsoft applications Ability to mentor, guide, and motivate adult learners Professional approach to compliance, safety, and documentation Qualification Requirements Restricted Electrical Licence or Full Electrical Licence (preferred) Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or willingness to obtain (fully funded) Relevant electrical trade qualifications Current industry knowledge and safety awareness This is a rare opportunity to build a long-term education career without sacrificing income, flexibility, or industry relevance.
