QUALIFICATIONS: Current registration with the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Australia KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Essential Clinical knowledge and skills related to acute, medical/surgical services, community nursing Sound interpersonal and communication skills Ability to operate effectively in an environment of change and continuous improvement Experience working independently Experience and confidence with Information Technology including use of mobile devices in the field Problem Solving Skills Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively Demonstrated ability to provide an effective, high quality, nursing service Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across client, community and professional groups inclusive of skills to negotiate and manage conflicts which arise Demonstrated understanding of health and related issues for elderly people, people with disabilities, and their carers Current Drivers Licence Desirable Membership of relevant professional body. Minimum two years’ experience.
