The Security Supervisor position reports directly to the Security Duty Manager and is responsible for supporting with the supervision of the operational functions of the Security Department ensuring an effective, efficient and professional operation. A few of your responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the security team, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to organisational policies and procedures Exhibit high visibility, hands-on leadership, proactively engaging with team members, driving improvements, and implementing innovative solutions to achieve organisational success and align team goals. Foster a culture of excellence by providing ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for your team Respond to and manage security incidents with professionalism, composure, and sound judgment, ensuring swift and effective resolution Monitor and investigate all incidents and compile written reports and operational logs What we are looking for: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the security industry Comprehensive knowledge of security best practices, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant regulatory frameworks Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a talent for remaining calm under pressure Advanced experience in Conflict Resolution and Incident Management Must hold a NSW Security License Class 1A Must hold First Aid certificate, RSA and RCG or willingness to obtain About you: You are a highly experienced Security Officer/Supervisor who takes pride in ensuring your team are providing a safe and unforgettable experience for our guests.
