About the Role We’re seeking a proactive and experienced People & Culture Advisor to join our client and provide end-to-end support across the employee lifecycle. This is a true generalist role where you’ll manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training initiatives, while taking the lead on Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) compliance and culture. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to ensure compliance, foster engagement, and build a safe, inclusive, and LEAN workplace. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment, induction programs, and compliance documentation. Employee Relations: Provide advice on policies, performance management, and workforce planning. Training & Development: Coordinate compliance, WHS, and leadership training programs. Workplace Health & Safety: Lead WHS systems, SOPs, risk assessments, and incident response. Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment legislation and certification standards. Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support commercial objectives. What We’re Looking For Relevant qualification in HR, Business, or equivalent experience. Sound knowledge of Tasmanian employment legislation and WHS requirements. Proven experience in People & Culture advisory roles, including employee relations and performance management. Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels. High attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with Learning & Development systems and WHS management tools (desirable). Salary & Benefits Competitive salary (commensurate with experience).
