Introduction As an IBM Z Client Architect within IBM you'll lead the definition and architecture of end-to-end solutions that include the IBM Z platform. Ensuring architectural viability and conducting assessments. Identifying and resolving project risks and conflicts. Required technical and professional expertise Client Leadership & Engagement Strong consulting, communication, and executive-level presentation skills. Proven capability to build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders. Solution Architecture Expertise in architecting end-to-end solutions. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and complex hybrid environments. Ability to provide architectural governance, solution design leadership, and technical direction. Deployment Skills in guiding clients toward full value realization. Ability to support implementation teams with technical oversight and issue resolution. Technical Leadership Ability to represent architectural perspective across sales, technical, and cross-functional teams. Strong collaboration skills to coordinate with technical sales, specialists, and business units. Capability to advocate for client needs internally and provide actionable feedback to offering management. Preferred technical and professional experience Knowledge of IBM Z and how it fits in Hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of Redhat OpenShift on IBM Z and LinuxONE.
