Job Title Electrician Job Roster 8/6 days only roster FIFO Perth to Leonora Job Summary Be able to design, test, install, assembly, diagnose and maintenance all electrical related aspects of equipment and facilities Job Statement Genesis Minerals have a newly created position for an Electrician to join and to complement our current Surface Maintenance Team located at our Gwalia Mine Site, Leonora. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will provide effective and responsive electrical support to Leonora Operations in order to safely achieve the equipment availability and asset utilisation essential for optimum surface process operations. This is opportunity is offered on a balanced 8 days on / 6 days off roster. This role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora. The opportunity: Providing efficient and effective electrical maintenance support to Leonora Operations to ensure that the processing plant can operate optimally at all times. Supporting the Maintenance Section to ensure that the Processing Department delivers to plan in respect of production, gold recovery and cost per tonne. Completing all statutory requirements of the role and all work done meets DIMRs requirements and Aust standards. Ensuring all tasks are carried out in an environmentally sustainable manner. We’re excited to hear from you if you have the following: Relevant & recognised Electrical Trade Qualification ‘A’ grade electrical worker’s licence High Voltage Licence Exposure to Instrumentation Ability to produce a National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months) for site access purposes; Current unencumbered Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence; Demonstrated relevant work experience, preferably in the Mining Industry Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
