We are recruiting on behalf of this award winning Design Studio for a Senior Architect to be based in their Sydney office in Chippendale. This Studio are supported by a team of Senior Architects, Interior Designers, recent graduates and students. Their recent work is in education, health and research, sport and recreation, multi-residential, retail and interior design. ABOUT THE POSITION. This Design Studio are looking for someone who is proud of their creative approach to problem solving and able to deliver welcoming, sustainable and stimulating built work. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES. Work within an established team to deliver healthcare and education projects Execute the design process so that the design intent can be achieved, and client expectations are exceeded Hit the ground running and work independently and collaboratively Lead and contribute through all project stages on multiple projects Manage relationships with clients and consultant, and ensure alignment between client and project team Work on a diverse mix of high-profile healthcare and education projects SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Passion for Design and Architecture Relevant degree in Architecture. Registration preferred Working knowledge of Revit Experience with education and the Schools Infrastructure NSW Strong knowledge of the project development and construction processes Creative approach to and proven abilities in design development Capability to produce accurate and comprehensive contract documentation Excellent contract management skills, including a proactive approach to problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail Good working knowledge of BCA, other relevant Australian Standards, and Council codes Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all key stakeholders Excellent organisational and time management skills HOW TO APPLY.
